Frequently asked questions
Answers to the most common questions about Merutech, Oracle ERP Cloud development, and how we work.
Merutech is an Oracle ERP Cloud specialist software firm. We build custom applications, embedded apps, integrations, BI Publisher reports, and AI-assisted operations for Oracle Fusion Cloud and Oracle E-Business Suite. We've been delivering enterprise Oracle ERP solutions since 2017.
Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP, HCM, SCM, PPM), Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle Autonomous Database (ATP), Oracle REST and SOAP APIs, FBDI, Page Integration Framework, ADF, and Visual Builder Cloud Service. We work across the full Oracle Cloud Infrastructure stack.
We use Oracle's Page Integration Framework with JWT certificate authentication to embed React applications directly inside Fusion Cloud pages. The apps inherit Oracle user identity and role-based security automatically — there is no separate login or user management to maintain.
Yes. We modernize EBS customizations, build integrations between EBS and Fusion Cloud during migration projects, and develop custom reports and extensions for organizations still running EBS. We can also lift EBS workloads onto modern, browser-based UX without a full Fusion migration.
Yes — BI Publisher development is a core service. We build BIP data models, RTF and Excel templates, scheduled bursting, multi-format output (PDF, XLSX, HTML, CSV), and full deployment pipelines across dev, test, and production environments. We also build AI-assisted tooling on top of BIP for natural-language report generation.
For embedded apps, we use Oracle's native JWT authentication via Page Integration Framework — users do not log in separately. For standalone apps, we support Oracle IAM, SSO, and SAML/OIDC providers. All data flows can be deployed inside the client's own Oracle Cloud Infrastructure tenancy, with no data leaving the customer environment.
Two weeks from project kickoff to a working prototype running on a customer test instance. After the prototype is accepted, we iterate in two-week sprints through to production deployment.
Both options are supported. Merutech-hosted SaaS runs on managed infrastructure with a 99.5% uptime SLA and automatic Oracle compatibility updates. Self-hosted deployments run on the customer's own Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, or Azure tenancy via Docker, preserving full data sovereignty and the customer's security policies.
Natural-language SQL over Oracle Fusion data, anomaly detection across GL and AP transactions, document intelligence combining OCR with LLMs for supplier invoices and contracts, agentic workflows with full audit trails, predictive analytics for cash flow and forecasting, and context-aware copilots embedded inside Fusion pages. The customer chooses the underlying LLM (Claude, GPT, Gemini, or self-hosted open-weights models).
Three differences. First, engineering-led delivery — every engagement is built by senior engineers, not staffed by junior consultants. Second, fixed-price prototypes in weeks, not quarters, with a working demo before any large commitment. Third, AI-native by default — every application Merutech builds is designed around modern AI capabilities, not retrofitted onto a legacy stack.
Merutech operates worldwide. We have active customer delivery in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific. Project delivery and documentation are available in English and French.
Project-based, fixed-price engagements rather than hourly billing. A short discovery call results in a written scope and a fixed-price quote for a two-week prototype. After the prototype is accepted, ongoing work is delivered in fixed-price two-week sprints. Managed hosting is offered on a monthly subscription. There is no minimum retainer.
